I’ve been hoarding loops in GarageBand since 2012.
Stuff I made on my phone. In transit. In bed. In breakdowns.
No plan. Just needed somewhere to put it.
And somehow now it’s an album.
I called it System Crash
because… obviously.
Because that’s what it feels like.
When you’re processing too much, too fast,
and you can’t speak it, so you make it a sound instead.
It’s not one genre.
Some songs are soft. Some are sharp.
Some are just me saying something I couldn’t say out loud
until it was autotuned and looped over a synth line I made while crying.
I didn’t polish it.
I didn’t make it “marketable.”
I made it true. And done. And loud enough.
System Crash is out now.
I actually love it.
I hope something in it hits you back.
(More soon. Probably lyrics. Maybe a video. Maybe nothing.)
Right now I'm just letting it exist.
